After several months of speculation about their relationship, it’s officially confirmed that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have decided to go their separate ways. On July 4th, their representatives announced that they had been changing the dynamics of their nearly decade-long relationship to prioritize co-parenting instead.

Regardless of their separation, the declaration underlined that Perry and Bloom remain dedicated to fostering a nurturing and considerate atmosphere for their child’s upbringing. The statement can be summarized as: “They will continue to present as a family unit, since their primary focus – and it has been, and always will be – raising their daughter with affection, security, and mutual regard.” (via Independent)

It’s been quiet on the part of both Perry and Bloom concerning their split, but their recent public outings have sparked rumors. Notably, Bloom was present at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s grand wedding in Venice, Italy, where he arrived solo on June 26th. Later, he was spotted strolling around the city with Sydney Sweeney and Tom Brady. Additionally, photographs emerged of him having lunch with Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kris Jenner at the Gritti Palace Hotel. These public appearances have fueled speculation about their relationship status.

The separation took place several months following the period when Perry faced criticisms during her global tour, due to her on-stage behaviors and also being part of a spaceflight with five other women in April, organized by Blue Origin.

Perry and Bloom initially crossed paths at a Golden Globe Awards after-party back in 2016, and they started dating not long afterwards. However, their romance experienced a temporary split in the year 2017. Fast forward to 2020, they joyously welcomed their baby girl named Daisy into their lives.
