The Japanese Drift Master video game, set to release in March this year, merges an expansive open-world setting with engaging narrative elements, creating a unique blend of storytelling and racing gameplay.
According to Gaming Factory’s recent announcement, the open-world racing game titled “JDM: Japanese Drift Master” is set to launch on multiple platforms including Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG on March 26, for PC users.
According to Gaming Factory:
JDM: Japanese Drift Master takes the players to an open-world, fictional Japanese prefecture—Guntama. It spans over 250 km in main roads and features the most famous tourist landmarks, as well as legendary car enthusiast spots, mixed together to create one cohesive and stunning world.
A Racing Game With A Lot Of Drama
The game offers you the choice between competing with others or cruising along Japanese highways, as you tag along with Touma, a Polisher who yearns for recognition within the local street racing community. With assistance from his Japanese peers, he strives to ascend the ranks of Japanese motorsports culture, but formidable adversaries pose constant challenges.
As a gaming enthusiast, diving into the thrilling world of JDM: Japanese Drift Master feels like stepping into a high-octane anime series. The narrative unfolds not only through the adrenaline-pumping races but also through a captivating manga, skillfully crafted by our in-house art team. With each race I participate in, I find myself turning pages of this gripping story, unraveling the intricate threads of drama, action, and even love that make JDM more than just a game – it’s an immersive experience!
“Simcade Racer With Solid Simulation Backbone”
In the game, the developer hasn’t disclosed all the car brands you can drive, but they have confirmed that Nissan, Mazda, and Subaru vehicles will be fully licensed.
Every vehicle has its unique characteristics based on factors such as its weight, allowing for distinct behavior on the road. You can also personalize both its aesthetic appearance and mechanical performance to match your preferred driving style and personal tastes.
The creator labels the game as a “combination of simulation racing with arcade elements, offering a realistic foundation along with lighthearted, entertaining gameplay”. They also assure players that they’re developing a flexible key binding system, allowing users to customize keys for any peripheral device connected to their computer, even if the developers couldn’t create pre-set configurations for every hardware type.
On March 26th, the highly anticipated racing game, “Japanese Drift Master” by Gaming Factory, will be available for purchase on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG for PC gamers.
