As a longtime fan of Only Murders in the Building and someone who has dabbled in my fair share of escape rooms, I must say that the return of the OMitB Escape Room for Season 4 is a dream come true! The idea of stepping into the world of this hilarious show and putting my problem-solving skills to the test while channeling my inner Mabel, Oliver, or Charles is just too exciting.

The debut of the “Only Murders in the Building” pop-up escape room in Los Angeles last year elicited much excitement among fans who engaged with the immersive experience based on Hulu’s original comedy series about a whodunnit. This year, the “Only Murders in the Building” Escape Room game is back, taking inspiration from the storyline of season 4.

In a clear explanation, Teddy Cheek, the Senior Director of Marketing and Brand at The Escape Room, shared that they tailor unique, hospitable adventures for every visitor. Moreover, Cheek emphasized their desire to carry on working alongside the streaming platform.

“We’re excited to carry on our partnership with Hulu and offer a captivating experience for crime enthusiasts. This involves delving into the intriguing world of ‘Only Murders in the Building’, where participants can engage in puzzles, teamwork, and camaraderie – much like the show’s renowned cast.”

In this murder mystery pop-up game, participants can immerse themselves in a setting similar to “Only Murders in the Building.” During this 60-minute escape room adventure, players will have the opportunity to exercise their detective skills, unleashing their inner investigator.

In a TikTok video from last year, a group of friends were getting acquainted with the stage setup, decorations, and discovering numerous hidden surprises (Easter Eggs) before the time elapsed.

The coastal escape rooms are all set to launch in Midtown Manhattan on August 30, following closely behind the debut of the new season of “Only Murders in the Building.” Then, they’ll reopen at the Westfield Century City Mall in Los Angeles on September 7th.
