After the official announcement and release date for Season 3 of One-Punch Man became known, its voice actor, Makoto Furukawa, shared his feelings about it. He stated that it feels like a long time since he auditioned with the hope of getting the role. The characters Saitama and One-Punch Man have shown him various perspectives over the past 10 years. He’s eager to see what sort of excitement the third season will generate.
On their previous platform, resembling Twitter, One-Punch Man’s primary account announced that the upcoming season of the series is set to premiere during the year marking the 10th anniversary since the first season was initially broadcasted!

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share my thoughts on the animated adaptation of One-Punch Man’s second season in 2019, produced by J.C. Staff. While I appreciated their efforts, the reception among fans was quite mixed. Some compared the animation quality between Season 2 and the exceptional work done by Madhouse in Season 1, noting a perceived decline in visual quality.
In February, Yusuke Murata, the artist behind One-Punch Man, made it clear on X that he won’t be participating in the production of the third season of the anime.
