Netflix unveiled the first genuine photo for the eagerly awaited Season 2 of “One Piece,” the popular live-action adaptation based on Eiichiro Oda’s cherished manga series. Excitingly, production on this long-awaited second part has already been completed in South Africa. As of now, there is no official release date set for Season 2.
Who is in the One Piece Season 2 photo?
The picture hints at the upcoming appearance of the Straw Hat pirates in Loguetown, where Gol D. Roger was executed. During their visit to Loguetown to stock up for their thrilling journey across the Grand Line, they’ll run into several beloved characters, including Captain Smoker from the Marines. The picture showcases Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji as the main characters.
In simple terms, the next season of One Piece is being overseen by Steven Maeda, known for The X-Files, and Matt Owens, from Agents of SHIELD. Joe Tracz and Owens are responsible for the show’s direction. This new season will see the Straw Hat crew embarking on their journey through the treacherous and enigmatic waters of the Grand Line.
