What happened in One Piece Chapter 1137?
In a thrilling turn of events as a devoted One Piece fan, I found Chapter 1137 unraveling the long-awaited enigma concerning Shanks’ doppelganger and his genuine purpose on Elbaf Island. The narrative unfolds with my favorite trio – Luffy, Nami, and Zoro – embarking on a quest to discover the keys to Loki’s shackles. As we delve into the forsaken castle, our intrepid group gleans some intriguing historical tidbits about the wreck’s past from the enigmatic Road.
The damage within the castle is linked to the period following King Herald’s assassination by Loki. As the group explores, they discover the remains of giant beings. This leads them to infer that King Herald had ancestry traced back to ancient times, given his skull bearing horns. However, contrary to this lineage, the king opted not to retain these horns and removed them due to their association with violence.
Readers observe Gunko, one of the two sacred knights, launching attacks against Loki and his wolf, all while Loki menaces the prince with the demand he aligns with them. Yet, Loki stubbornly rejects the Holy Knights’ allegiance. In response to this defiance, a figure who resembles Shanks emerges, identifying himself as Figarland Shamrock – the son of World Noble Figarland Garling and leader of the Holy Knights. Unlike Shanks, he boasts long red hair and an unscarred face. Lastly, Shamrock discloses that his true aim in recruiting Loki is to secure Elbaph’s alliance with the World Government.
