“Once Upon a Time” There Was Christian Dior FW25

The noise and excitement surrounding Paris Fashion Week have now started in earnest. Christian Dior commenced the second daytime session of women’s fashion presentations by embarking on a celestial voyage through the ages, using the enchanting Jardin des Tuileries as its stage to unveil its Fall/Winter 2025 collection.

The fun at Paris Fashion Week has begun! Christian Dior started off the second day of women’s fashion shows by telling a beautiful story about different eras, using the lovely Jardin des Tuileries as their stage to showcase their Fall/Winter 2025 collection.

Christian Dior gracefully unveiled the initial chapter of a fresh narrative at the Jardin des Tuileries, saying “Once Upon a Time.” The fashion elite flooded into the venue, eager to see Maria Grazia Chiuri’s enchanting new collection. As anticipated, it did not fail to impress. Inspired by the progression of femininity, Chiuri honored Dior’s creative director from 1989 to 1996, Gianfranco Ferré, in this breathtaking display.

Miuccia Chiuri explores both space and time as she examines Ferré’s groundbreaking perspective, beginning with a solitary white dress suspended from a chair in the center of the stage. The collection then transitions into formalwear that combines old-world elegance with modern flair, featuring lace-edged dresses boasting a structural twist. Jackets adorned with corsets burst forth in flowery embellishments, while classic black ensembles are paired with reimagined ‘J’adore Dior’ tees from 2025.

On the runway strode garments with crumpled blouses and puffed coats, exuding a medieval ambiance that made it seem as though we had stepped into Dior’s golden era. The collection progressed to its second act featuring two-dimensional flowers on zipped ensembles and glossy trench coats, while birds and boulders seemed to soar overhead, captivating the audience’s gaze. Jackets resembling shredded motorcycles, feathered zip-ups, and intricately laced equestrian boots sparkled with each step before culminating in a few numbers adorned with metal, sequins, and sheer fabric.
