According to a recent interview with Michael B. Jordan published by Deadline, we now have a better idea of the possible title and storyline for the sequel to “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

During the interview, it was mentioned that Jordan could potentially star in a David Fincher movie. Interestingly, Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr. hinted that the title of the film might be “The Further Adventures of Cliff Booth.

In the upcoming film, the character portrayed by Brad Pitt (as Booth in both Quentin Tarantino’s initial production and its follow-up) transitions from a skilled stuntman to a “behind-the-scenes troubleshooter” for Hollywood studios.

As reported by The Playlist, Fincher and Pitt are set to collaborate once again, this time on a sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 comedy-drama. Brad Pitt is expected to reprise his role as stuntman Cliff Booth. Interestingly, it’s been hinted that the project, currently in development at Netflix, might attract even more big names to join the cast.

As per a different account by The InSneider’s Jeff Sneider, it appears that Leonardo DiCaprio, who previously acted with Pitt in the initial movie, is discussing potential involvement for a return to the roles, specifically as Rick Dalton, alongside Pitt and Fincher.

The Playlist’s review suggests that the film has a vibe similar to a Cliff Booth production, but there’s a chance DiCaprio’s character could make a brief appearance or have a minor role. Regarding Margot Robbie, who portrayed Sharon Tate in the film, it’s noted that she may be open for the project if David Fincher decides to collaborate.

Regarding the formation of this movie, The Playlist highlights that the script originated from Quentin Tarantino himself, having evolved from his earlier script for The Movie Critic (which was suggested to involve Brad Pitt as Booth).
