Netflix has officially revealed the entire cast of their upcoming romantic comedy film titled “Office Romance,” starring Golden Globe nominee Jennifer Lopez, best known for her role in “Marry Me,” and Emmy winner Brett Goldstein, famous for his work on “Ted Lasso.” Production on this project has now commenced as well.
In a statement, Goldstein said, “Each day, I arrive at work as if filming a romantic comedy alongside Jennifer Lopez and an exceptional cast. Yet, no one has burst out to confirm it’s all a prank. So, perhaps this is the real deal?
Who is joining the Office Romance cast?
The ensemble for the show “The Office Romance” has confirmed the addition of Betty Gilpin, Amy Sedaris, Tony Hale, Rick Hoffman, Jodie Whittaker, Mary Wiseman, Tony Plana, Roger Bart, Natalie Ortega, Jackie Sandler, Michelle Hurd, Mo Welch, Donald Elise Watkins, Brian Gallivan, Ali Stroker, Scott Seiss, Lisa Gilroy, and Will Sasso to their lineup. Additionally, Bradley Whitford will be playing the character Peter Vance in this production.
Edward James Olmos, known for his role in Mayans M.C., has also been cast in an upcoming movie as Capt. Jack Cruz. This will be a reunion for Olmos and Lopez, who previously acted together in the 1997 film Selena. In this new series, Olmos will portray the father of Lopez’s character once more. The specific details about the plot are currently being kept confidential.
The movie is being helmed by Ol Parker, who has crafted the screenplay in collaboration with Goldstein and Joe Kelly. Notably, Jennifer Lopez and Goldstein are not only starring in the film but also serving as producers alongside Kelly, Aaron Ryder, Andrew Swett, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, and Benny Medina. Furthermore, Pamela Thur and Courtney Baxter are overseeing the project as executive producers.
