Ocean’s 14 Gets Optimistic Update from Andy Garcia

Ocean’s 14 has received a promising update from actor Andy Garcia.

In the Steven Soderbergh directed Ocean’s series, Garcia portrayed Terry Benedict. This collection includes Ocean’s Eleven (2001), Ocean’s Twelve (2004), and Ocean’s Thirteen. Although an Ocean’s 8 spin-off was released in 2018, there may be a future installment titled Ocean’s Fourteen at some point.

In January 2025, Jeff Sneider’s TheInSneider was the first to announce that David Leitch, known for his work on The Fall Guy, was in discussions about directing Ocean’s 14. Since then, there hasn’t been much news regarding this project; however, recent updates suggest that it hinges on coordinating everyone’s schedules before the film can move forward.

What did Andy Garcia say about Ocean’s 14?

He said to Collider, ‘It appears to be more than a mere whisper, I believe.’ He thinks they’re simply looking for a time when everyone can participate, he believes. Or perhaps, specifically Brad Pitt and George Clooney. However, yes, it’s in the works.

Additionally, there had been plans for a prequel to the Ocean’s series, set in 1960s Europe, featuring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. However, news about this movie has been scarce, leading us to question if it is still in development.

In the Ocean’s movies directed by Soderbergh, a large ensemble of actors is featured. Danny Ocean, played by George Clooney, appears alongside Robert “Rusty” Ryan, portrayed by Brad Pitt. Linus Caldwell is Matt Damon’s character, while Julia Roberts takes on Tess Ocean. Don Cheadle plays Basher Tarr, Elliott Gould is Reuben Tishkoff, Casey Affleck is Virgil Malloy, and Scott Caan portrays Turk Malloy. Eddie Jemison assumes the role of Livingston Dell, Qin Shaobo acts as Yen, Carl Reiner plays Saul Bloom, and Bernie Mac is Frank Catton in these films.

As a die-hard fan, I’m eagerly waiting for more updates about Ocean’s 14! Right now, we don’t have any details about the plot or when it will hit the screens. But in the meantime, I can revisit my favorite heist adventures by streaming Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, and Ocean’s Thirteen on Netflix.
