OBX newcomer teases fall premiere for Outer Banks season 4

As a devoted fan of “Outer Banks,” I can’t help but get excited every time there’s news about the upcoming season. The recent announcement from J. Anthony Crane, who is joining the cast for season 4, that production has wrapped up is definitely a positive sign that we won’t have to wait much longer.

I’m just as curious as you are about when the new season of “Outer Banks” will drop! However, we haven’t got an official release date yet. But here’s some exciting news: One of the new cast members from the upcoming season shared a sneak peek on their social media recently!

June 12 saw J. Anthony Crane, a new addition to the cast of “Outer Banks” season 4, post a video on Instagram from the set to declare that filming had come to an end. Coincidentally, this was also the day that Chase Stokes, Jonathan Daviss, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, and Carlacia Grant shared Instagram stories announcing the same thing.

Crane captioned the video with this:

And that’s a wrap! What a glorious day to end a glorious season. Thank you @obx for changing me. And changing my life. I hope you all tune in this fall for the premiere. A lot in store. P4L. #obx #p4l #charleston #pogues

You heard it there first! Outer Banks season 4 coming in the fall of 2024.

If I were a fan, I’d say: I’m thrilled that Netflix has revealed that Crane will join “John B. and the Pogues” in season 4, playing the role of Chandler Groff. According to Netflix, Chandler is deeply grieving over his wife’s passing and extends a warm welcome to our beloved team. As a fan, I can’t wait to see how Chandler interacts with John B. and the gang on their new adventure. Let’s hope we’ll get along just fine!

Crane was asked about the possible release date being towards the end of September, but he responded cryptically by saying, “I’m told nothing about that.” He added a heart emoticon.

As a dedicated fan of “Outer Banks” who has been following the show since its debut, I can tell you that the anticipation for season 4 is palpable in the fandom community. However, despite all the rumors and speculation, we still don’t have an official release date for the new season.

During Netflix’s Q1 earnings call in April, CEO Ted Sarandos announced that the fourth season of “Outer Banks” would be released towards the end of 2024. Previously, in February, Netflix had disclosed that several shows, including “Outer Banks,” were scheduled to unveil new seasons in 2024. Sarandos went on to mention other shows slated for release in the latter half of 2024, such as “Cobra Kai,” “Emily in Paris,” “The Night Agent,” and more.

I’m excitedly looking forward to the July and August premieres of “Cobra Kai” and “Emily in Paris,” respectively. Fingers crossed that this means we’ll get new seasons of “The Night Agent” and “Outer Banks” in September or October.

“Outer Banks is great to watch anytime, but particularly enjoyable during the summer months.”

As a dedicated binge-watcher with years of experience under my belt, I’m thrilled to share my excitement about the upcoming TV season. With the promising anticipation of new releases in the air, I can hardly contain my enthusiasm.

As an avid gamer and a dedicated fan of “Outer Banks,” I can only imagine what it would be like if we were to get some exciting news about the upcoming season 4. Some fellow fans have speculated that we might see a release in September, based on clues and rumors circulating online. But as someone who’s been in the game long enough to know better, I understand that ultimately, it’s up to Netflix to make the call and announce any official dates. So, while we eagerly wait for any updates, you can count on me to keep you all posted as soon as I hear anything new!

Stay tuned for more news about Outer Banks season 4!
