One thing more unsettling than a single Adoring Fan is two fans who seem to multiply like an otherworldly being. It’s not just a tale spun on horror forums – one player of Oblivion Remastered encountered this self-replicating entity firsthand.
In a sequence of posts on Reddit, r/Boring_Corpse recounted an anecdote about their devoted admirer who “reproduced asexually” and left them with permanent marks. To put it simply, when their initial devotee inexplicably disappeared without a trace, the player resorted to using cheat codes to bring the pesky character back to life again.
In the narrative, it proceeds: “I quickly teleported, only to find two of them appearing out of nowhere. The most distressing part was one seemed perpetually enraged, its countenance fixed in an expression of fury. It seems I’m dealing with a doppelganger situation? One could be the devoted admirer, while the other appears to be the spiteful critic, but it’s unclear. Regardless, I couldn’t shake off the additional one. They behave as a single unit when instructed to wait or depart. Intrigued, I decided to eliminate one, but was filled with remorse upon witnessing the other’s shock. Both now have permanent scowls on their faces, making it hard to distinguish which is the malevolent one. The situation grew more complicated as they persistently followed me, their small, supposedly affectionate eyes watching me everywhere I went. And just as mysteriously as they appeared, they vanished again while I was traveling.
Although Adoring Fan and Disparaging Hater may no longer be present, they remain vivid in my memory. I find myself living in apprehension, believing they might reappear. Their gaze still seems to follow me, and I can almost feel the warmth of non-existent torches. In the depths of the night, I sometimes sense unseen hands trying to give me a comforting shoulder rub, only for them to disappear when I look back.
R/Boring_Corpse decided against attempting to summon them once more due to the concern that three supposed admirers might materialize this time, despite his eagerness to witness a bizarre village of enthusiastic, identical Fervent Supporters congregating in an eerie manner, resembling a cult-like worship.

To clarify, I did install a mod that transforms the Adoring Fan into a younger version, which might seem unusual to some given your lack of adoption. However, for those who don’t have any peculiarities in their preferences, feel free to share your thoughts and cast your vote accordingly.
