Oblivion Remastered: Drunk & Disorderly Quest Guide—Get Jobs, Find Ectoplasm, Win Big!

In the game Oblivion Remastered, when you sign up for the Fighter’s Guild, your initial tasks will involve resolving minor issues to boost your standing within the organization. Once you progress to Journeyman level, Modryn Oreyn will give you the Drunk and Disorderly quest, a mission that calls for Oblivion Remastered players to locate and pacify a band of misbehaving guildmates in Leyawiin.

Since you’re not permitted to slay fellow members of the Guild, you need to discover another method to accomplish the Drunk and Disorderly mission instead. Here’s a guide on starting the Drunk and Disorderly quest in Oblivion Remastered, along with information about locating your guildmates, and tips for finding jobs when the Blackwood Company has been competing unfairly against the Fighter’s Guild.

How To Start Drunk and Disorderly Quest

As a gamer immersed in the world of “Oblivion Remastered”, here’s how I might put it:

“To embark on the chaotic escapade known as ‘Drunk and Disorderly’, I first need to wrap up all four starting missions for the Fighter’s Guild, offered by Azzan and Burz gro-Khash in Anvil and Cheydinhal. Once I’ve joined the Fighter’s Guild and earned the title of Journeyman, Modryn Oreyn, the guild champion, will entrust me with new tasks. ‘Drunk and Disorderly’ is the second mission he hands me (following ‘Unfinished Business’).

Go To Leyawiin & Talk To The Fighter’s Guild Members

After accepting the Drunk and Disorderly mission in Oblivion Remastered, players should quickly teleport themselves to Leyawiin, specifically at the northern gate fast travel spot. Upon arrival, navigate towards the Five Claws Lodge on the town’s north side, where you will encounter three Fighter’s Guild members, with an elf named Vantus as their leader.

As I strolled into the local tavern, Vantus approached me with a grim look on his face. He filled me in that the sneaky Blackwood Company, known for undercutting our Guild on contracts, had moved into town and snatched up all the jobs. Now they’re holed up somewhere, causing nothing but trouble. But here’s the catch – if I could find them a legitimate job, they’d pack up and leave us in peace.

Luckily, a contact in Leyawiin is willing to offer Fighter’s Guild members like me a task, and he doesn’t care about the Blackwood Company. The only problem? I need to prove myself first. Challenge accepted!

How To Find Fighter’s Guild Jobs

To secure employment for Fighter’s Guild members in Leyawiin, converse with the barkeep Witseudutsei. You can either engage in a Persuasion challenge or resort to Bribery to raise your standing with her. Once your rapport exceeds 50, inquire if she knows of any jobs in town suitable for discontent Fighter’s Guild members. The Argonian will then guide you to Margarte, an Alchemist in the same town.

To locate Margarte, consult your compass. She might be at her residence in the city, or you could find her at one of two Inns within the city, or perhaps she is collecting ingredients outside the city. Approach her and inquire about available tasks. She may mention that she requires someone to retrieve Ogre Teeth and Minotaur Horns – an ideal job for a brawler who’s between gigs.

Initially, she requires you to demonstrate your worth by gathering 5 times the amount of Ectoplasm as a condition for formally extending the job invitation from the Fighter’s Guild.

Where To Get Ectoplasm For Drunk and Disorderly

In “Oblivion Remastered,” a quick and convenient location for acquiring 5 Ectoplasm for the Drunk and Disorderly quest is the Undercroft of the Leyawiin Chapel. To reach it, make your way to the chapel and use lockpicking skills to gain access. Inside, you’ll find enough Ghost enemies to collect the exact number required for the quest.

In this area, ectoplasm can exclusively be obtained from Ghost-like adversaries, and interestingly enough, exactly five of them appear every time.

To eliminate every Ghost using an item of Silver rank or higher, or by casting spells, and once done, head back to Margarte. Provide her with five units of Ectoplasm, and she will formally extend the job proposal from the Guild.

Head back to Five Claws Lodge and chat with Vantus about the positive developments. Once you’ve shared the updates, the mission will be deemed accomplished and instructions for collecting your prize in Chorrol will follow.

Drunk & Disorderly Quest Rewards

In the game “Oblivion Remastered,” upon finishing the Drunk and Disorderly mission, players will be rewarded with a proportionate amount of Gold depending on their current character level. Once you have fulfilled both of Modryn Oreyn’s initial assignments, you will advance to become a Swordsman within the Fighter’s Guild, gaining access to the next two quests from Azzan and Burz gro-Khash. However, Oreyn won’t offer additional quests until you have completed Amelion’s Debt and Den of Thieves, in either sequence.
