The Q2 2025 earnings report from NVIDIA (NVDA) provides intriguing insights into the company’s performance over the recent months, with a focus on the ongoing AI revolution. Yet, it also sheds light on NVIDIA’s gaming sector. In Q2, there was a 16% increase in NVIDIA’s gaming revenue compared to the previous year.
In the gaming segment of their Q2 2025 financial report, NVIDIA revealed that the earnings for this quarter amounted to $2.9 billion, representing a 9% increase compared to the last quarter, and a 16% rise when compared to the same period a year ago.
NVIDIA hasn’t explicitly stated the reasons behind the growth in gaming revenue. However, one possibility could be the forthcoming console from Nintendo, which they have acknowledged is in development. Notably, NVIDIA collaborated with Nintendo on their successful hybrid console, the Switch.
