The NVIDIA RTX 5060s, a fresh addition to the expanding RTX 50-series family of graphics cards, promises an upgrade for gaming setups using Blackwell technology at an unexpectedly affordable cost.
On April 15th, 2025, NVIDIA unveiled a fresh lineup of RTX 5060 graphics cards. Leading the charge is the RTX 5060 Ti, available in both 8GB and 16GB versions, with prices starting at $379 for the former and $429 for the latter. These models will hit the market tomorrow.
Starting in May, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll have the opportunity to get my hands on the RTX 5060 graphics card, priced affordably at just $299. Additionally, NVIDIA is set to launch GeForce RTX 5060 laptops, with prices starting from a budget-friendly $1099.
The announcement further disclosed a wealth of details about the potent chips powering these GPUs. Notably, these GPUs support DLSS 4 and its advanced multi-frame generation tech. NVIDIA demonstrated that the 5060 Ti outperforms previous-generation Ti cards by doubling frame rates and decreasing latency.
Despite the Trump administration imposing tariffs on different nations, it’s quite unexpected that the RTX 5060 family cards remain affordable. Notably, NVIDIA has revealed its intention to shift production to the U.S., having secured agreements to establish manufacturing facilities in Arizona and Texas. It will be intriguing to observe how these factors influence the pricing of NVIDIA’s GPUs in the future.
