The Pushpa series, directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, has become a beloved franchise. Its initial release was in 2021, with a sequel following in 2024. Yet, the energetic song “Oo Antava” from the first movie continues to generate excitement, featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu showcasing electrifying dance moves alongside Allu Arjun.
More recently, during the unveiling of the Robinhood movie’s trailer, its producer, Ravi Shankar, shared an intriguing piece of information regarding the song. He disclosed that Samantha was actually not the initial choice for the tune.
Originally, Ketika Sharma was proposed for the song, but because she wasn’t available then, the chance shifted to Samantha Ruth Prabhu instead. With her performance in Oo Antava, she made history and transformed it into an international phenomenon.
Today, Samantha Ruth Prabhu boasts a notable list of ventures, frequently grabbing attention due to her talent and acting prowess.
Following her latest entry in the Citadel: Honey Bunny spy-thriller franchise, Samantha currently has upcoming projects such as Rakhtbrahmand, Maa Inti Bangaram, among others, on her schedule.
Now, after achieving tremendous success with Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun has successfully transitioned to new endeavors, breaking records nationwide and establishing a fresh standard at the box office.
Progressing forward, he has several eagerly awaited projects coming up, one of which is a widely anticipated pan-India film helmed by director Atlee. It’s rumored that this movie will cast him in two distinct roles.
Furthermore, as per the latest findings from TopMob, the actor has sealed an impressive Rs. 175 crore contract with Sun Pictures, which also includes a 15% profit-sharing agreement for the same production.
In addition, it’s worth mentioning that Allu Arjun has plans to team up with Trivikram Srinivas on a new venture, while he is also looking forward to working with Sukumar once more in the upcoming third chapter of the Pushpa series.
