As a lifelong aficionado of the macabre, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming reimagining of Nosferatu! Having grown up with the original 1922 classic, I’ve always been drawn to its haunting gothic atmosphere and timeless tale of obsession. The fact that Robert Eggers, the mastermind behind the chilling The Witch, is at the helm fills me with anticipation.


A fresh collection of photographs depicting the Nosferatu remake by Focus Features, a reimagining of the 1922 gothic film with the same title, has been unveiled. This chilling adaptation is set to hit theaters on December 25, 2024

Who is in the Nosferatu photos?

The new stills provide the audience with a closer look at some of the main cast members’ characters, including Nicholas Hoult’s Thomas Hutter, Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Friedrich Harding, and Lily-Rose Depp’s Ellen Hutter. One of the photos features Depp’s character bleeding from her eyes and mouth. The ensemble cast will also include Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok, Emma Corrin as Anna Harding, Ralph Ineson as Dr. Wilhelm Sievers, Simon McBurney as Her Knock, and Willem Dafoe as Prof. Albin Eberhart Von Franz. The latter previously portrayed a version of the titular character in the 2000 meta-horror comedy Shadow of the Vampire.
