Focus Features has revealed that the dark gothic horror film, “Nosferatu,” starring Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok, will officially be released on Peacock. The upcoming movie is a modern adaptation of the 1922 classic silent vampire film with the same title.
Following his role in Nosferatu, Alexander Skarsgard will appear in several upcoming films. These include the horror-thriller “Locked” alongside Anthony Hopkins, the adventure drama “The Demise of Robin Hood” featuring Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer, and the crime thriller “Lords of War” starring Nicolas Cage. Additionally, Skarsgard will once again take on his famous role as Pennywise the Clown in HBO’s prequel series IT: Welcome to Derry.
When is the Nosferatu Peacock release date?
Beginning February 21st, you’ll be able to stream the long-awaited release of Nosferatu, only on Peacock. After its successful theatrical debut in December, this film has garnered praise from critics, boasting a Certified Fresh rating of 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. Additionally, it’s been nominated for an impressive four Oscars across categories such as Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.

The talented cast includes Willem Dafoe as Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Friedrich Harding, Nicholas Hoult as Thomas Hutter, Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter, Emma Corrin as Anna Harding, Ralph Ineson as Dr. Wilhelm Sievers, and Simon McBurney as Herr Knock.
