Nobody 2 Cast: Christopher Lloyd to Reprise Role in Action Sequel

As a longtime fan who’s witnessed the magical transformations of reel-to-real, I can hardly contain my excitement at the news that Christopher Lloyd is joining the cast of Nobody 2! With his enigmatic charm and unparalleled versatility, he’s the perfect addition to this action-packed sequel.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super stoked to share that the legend himself, Christopher Lloyd – yes, the Emmy-winning actor – is set to rejoin the cast of the thrilling action sequel, “Nobody 2”. Can’t wait to see what this 2021 movie follow-up has in store for us!

Lloyd is set to return as David Mansell, Hutch’s father and a former FBI agent who once stepped in to aid his son against the Russian mafia in the initial installment. Known for his role in Back to the Future, Lloyd will make another appearance next on Netflix’s Wednesday Season 2 in a guest spot. Previously, he played Uncle Fester in the early ’90s versions of The Addams Family.

Who is in the Nobody 2 cast?

Lloyd is set to join once again alongside the original actors Bob Odenkirk and Connie Nielsen. Sharon Stone, a winner of the Golden Globe, has been added to the cast for the sequel, taking on the role as the primary villain. The upcoming film will be helmed by Tim Tjahjanto, an Indonesian director, with the screenplay written by Derek Kolstad, the creator of the John Wick franchise, along with Bob Odenkirk, Aaron Rabin, and Umair Aleem.

In this production, Kelly McCormick and David Leitch (for 87North), Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero (from Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment), as well as Braden Aftergood (representing Eighty Two Films) will all collaborate. Overseeing the project are Universal Pictures executives Jay Polidoro and Tony Ducret.

The initial movie primarily focused on Hutch Mansell, a former assassin, who was drawn back into the criminal sphere due to feelings of being disregarded and undervalued, not just by outsiders but also his own family. As for the second part’s storyline, more information is yet to be revealed. During its cinematic release, it garnered favorable feedback from critics. Moreover, it generated a global revenue of more than $57 million on an estimated production budget of approximately $16 million.
