FBI: International Season 4 Episode 9 confirms Vinessa Vidotto’s Cameron isn’t leaving
In Episode 9 of FBI: International’s fourth season, it’s revealed that Cameron Vo manages to survive after being wounded by a gunshot, implying that her character will continue in the series.
In episode 8, it was revealed that Cameron was alive, though critically ill. Andre Raines, who had been with Cameron at the hospital, shared with the rest of the team his grim assessment: “It doesn’t seem promising.” At the onset of Episode 9, Cameron’s surgeon updated the Fly Team, stating that while Cameron’s health was currently stable, there was a significant risk of infection at the site of her gunshot wound. This suggests that Cameron’s situation could potentially worsen. However, in the end, Cameron managed to pull through. Later on, Celeste informed the team that the other woman involved was recovering and would be just fine.
In an interview with TVLine, actress Vidotto shared that she learned about her character’s destiny only when she received the script for Episode 8. She expressed that it was surprising, thrilling, and captivating because the way her character met her end was worth it since the script was so well-written and engaging. Performing in it wasn’t difficult, she added, due to its high quality.
The actress further disclosed that she felt this could be her final chapter on the series. She expressed, “Acting days can be tough when a scene is demanding or complex, but the ones where my character meets its end, such as being killed or shot, I found them particularly rewarding. I thought, ‘This is how I’d like to exit. It was worth it!’
During the same interview, Vidotto revealed that a time leap would occur, and Cameron would remain part of the Fly Team. Additionally, since she’s been seen shooting scenes for the series in Italy lately, it seems likely that she will feature in upcoming episodes.
