As a dedicated fan of Nivin Pauly, it is disheartening to see such baseless allegations against him. I have followed his career closely and have seen the respect he shows towards women both on and off-screen. The man who played the role of ‘Kuttanadan Marthandan’ in ‘Premam’, a character known for his chivalry, is not one to stoop down to such deplorable acts.
Previously, various online articles suggested that actor Nivin Pauly, along with film producer AK Sunil and four others, were arrested by the police for accusations of physically harming a woman. However, the actor has now addressed the issue, stating that these reports are false. He asserted that he has never mistreated any woman, describing the allegations as “groundless”.
Nivin Pauly shared a note on his Instagram handle that read, “I have come across a false news report accusing me of abusing a girl. Please know that this is entirely untrue. I’m determined to go to any extent to prove these allegations are baseless and will take all necessary steps to bring those responsible to light. Thank you for your concern. The rest will be handled legally.”

To clarify for those less familiar, news emerged that the Kerala police submitted a report claiming foul play, invoking Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), against Nivin Pauly and five others.
Reports suggest that an actor has been identified as the sixth suspect in a rape allegation. The victim claimed that she was lured with a film role, which led her to go to Dubai in 2023. Unfortunately, she was violated in a hotel room by the suspect.
According to reports, the woman submitted a complaint to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) following disagreements over the Hema Committee Report. Once the complaint was lodged, the SIT communicated to the Kerala police to initiate a formal case.
Since the publication of the Hema Committee report, a series of accusations have shaken the Malayalam film industry. Prominent actor Mohanlal has already relinquished his position as President of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists). In fact, the entire committee has resigned due to the fact that several members were also implicated in misconduct allegations.
