Nipsey Hussle’s Posthumous Album Could Drop This Summer

This summer, a post-mortem album by the late rapper Nipsey Hussle is expected for release, according to his brother Blacc Sam.

Recently, I had an exciting conversation on Power 106’s Brown Bag Morning Show where Sam shared some fascinating news about an upcoming album. This project is a collaboration between the legendary Nipsey Hussle and Bino Rideaux, which was started before Nipsey’s untimely passing. As Sam put it, “If Nipsey didn’t lay down the verse or work on the project with someone, we aren’t releasing it.” He further explained that there was a project in the works between Nipsey and Bino, which was almost complete. According to Sam, this collaboration is nearly finished and will soon be available for us fans to enjoy.

Sam went on to explain, “Essentially, they gathered some unrehearsed verses and tracks that he collaborated with Bino on. They refined it and it sounds fantastic. It’s expected to drop this summer. The team is buzzing with anticipation. We’ve been working tirelessly on it for the past three weeks with everyone involved.

Back in 2019, Nipsey Hussle, the man who was tragically taken away, has made his presence known posthumously. He’s featured on tracks like “What It Feels Like” from the soundtrack of “Judas and the Black Messiah”, alongside JAY-Z, and “Diamond Mind” with Dr. Dre and Ty Dolla $ign, which was released for Grand Theft Auto Online: The Contract. I’m still feeling his impact in the music scene even after he’s gone.
