This past year, Nintendo disclosed plans for a second U.S. location, which is set to debut in San Francisco, California. Although we were aware that the store would open some time in 2023, Nintendo has recently revealed that the Nintendo San Francisco store will officially welcome visitors on May 15.
On May 15, 2025, Nintendo’s San Francisco branch will host an inaugural event to mark its fifth store opening. This occasion will feature live, on-site activities for those fortunate enough to secure participation. Additionally, Nintendo is organizing a contest where one lucky fan and their companion could score a four-day vacation in San Francisco, complete with a guided tour of the recently established Nintendo Store.
At Nintendo’s San Francisco branch, you’ll find unique items such as accessories, clothing, home decor, and souvenirs that can only be purchased there, as mentioned in a press release sent to Shacknews. In the run-up to its opening in May, we’ll get our first sneak peek at these one-of-a-kind products.
