What do we know about Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club?
An assistant PI at Utsugi Detective Agency takes on a new case: working with law enforcement to potentially link a recent crime to a series of cold-case murder investigations from 18 years ago.
A new addition to the Famicom Detective Club series, the game was the initial installment created for the Family Computer Disk System back in 1988. This title gave rise to a sequence of three subsequent games, with the first two being penned by Sakamoto before he started directing renowned Metroid series titles.
In the year 2021, two games from the Famicom Detective Club series received remakes exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. These updated versions came with enhanced graphics, fresh tunes, and added voice-overs.
