About a week ago, unexpectedly, Ninja Gaiden 2 Black was launched by Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and even Game Pass. It seems that Team Ninja is not done with bringing back the classic action game to fresh platforms yet. Recently, they’ve released a patch for minor fixes, but along with this update, they also hinted at another one coming in February. This upcoming patch will include balance changes and additional features for the game.
This week, Team Ninja revealed their strategies for the upcoming updates in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black via their social media platforms. On these platforms, they gave fans a sneak peek into what can be expected from the game.
The update for the Microsoft Store version 1.0.6.0 is now available, addressing an issue where super-resolution options were not selectable. Check our website for more details. We’re working on another update based on your feedback, to be released soon.

In our gaming session with Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, we found it quite enjoyable. Given that it’s still part of the Ninja Gaiden series, it offers a delightfully gory, intense, stylish, and demanding experience. However, eagle-eyed gamers soon realized that this was an enhancement over Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma, not the original game. This meant fewer enemies and some issues with combos. It seems that Team Ninja has been listening to feedback on Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and plans to make adjustments to create the game fans desire. We’re curious to see what new “enhancements” they have in store for us.
Keep an eye out as we approach mid-February; we’ll have more information and updates regarding Ninja Gaiden soon!
