As a gamer, I’d describe it like this: I find myself immersed in the story of a woman adjusting to her new role as a suburban mother to a toddler. At first, I help her navigate the daily routine of diapers and tantrums. But as time passes, she starts discovering an unexpected side to motherhood – a primal, canine-like power that’s both strange and captivating. And believe me, the more she uncovers, the weirder it gets!
Marielle Heller, an actress-filmmaker known for “Queen’s Gambit,” is at the helm of “Nightbitch,” having co-written the screenplay with Yoder. The film’s cast includes Scoot McNairy, Mary Holland, Kerry O’Malley, Ella Thomas, and Roslyn Gentle, who will be joining Adams in this upcoming production.
