Amazon Studios, under the MGM banner, has unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming thriller drama titled “Holland.” This gripping film features Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman in a leading role. The movie will make its global debut at the 2025 South by Southwest Film Festival. Post its premiere, it will be exclusively streamable on Prime Video starting March 27, 2025.
In the unexpectedly chaotic thriller, we find Nicole Kidman portraying Nancy Vandergroot, a teacher and homemaker who, along with her husband and son, enjoys a tranquil life in Holland, Michigan, surrounded by beautiful tulip fields. However, this idyllic existence is abruptly shattered as a hidden mystery unfolds, leading to a tangled yarn where nothing is as it appears. Nancy, together with her trustworthy colleague, starts to suspect secrets lurking around but soon realizes that their lives hold more deception than they could have imagined.

Who is in the Holland trailer?
The video presents Nicole Kidman in the role of Nancy Vandergroot, a lady who grows suspicious that her spouse may be leading a secret life. Apart from Kidman, the teaser offers sneak peeks into the principal cast, such as Matthew Macfadyen (known for Succession) portraying Fred Vandergroot, Jude Hill (from Belfast) as Harry Vandegroot, and Gael García Bernal (renowned from Babel) playing Dave Delgado. Furthermore, the ensemble includes Rachel Sennott, Lennon Parham, Isaac Krasner, Jeff Pope, and Jacob Moran.
The movie “Holland” is helmed by director Mimi Cave, who has crafted its screenplay alongside Andrew Sodroski. This production is a joint effort of Kate Churchill, Peter Dealbert, Nicole Kidman, and Per Saari. At present, the film spans 1 hour and 48 minutes. Notably, this project represents Nicole Kidman’s latest partnership with Amazon MGM Studios, following her roles in the miniseries “Expats” and the biopic film “Being the Ricardos.
