The makers of Vertical have unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming dark comedy titled “I Don’t Understand You.” Featuring Nick Kroll (Big Mouth) and Andrew Rannells (A Simple Favor), this film is all set to hit theaters on June 6. The movie comes from the creative minds of directors Brian Crano and David Joseph Craig.

Crano and Craig expressed their excitement in a statement about the upcoming release of an old-fashioned, eerie, and humorous comedy movie. They praised Kroll and Rannells as the perfect comedic duo, encouraging viewers to catch their hilarious performance on June 6th. What happens in the I Don’t Understand You trailer?

In this video, Kroll and Rannells are portrayed as a gay couple who are expecting to become parents through adoption from Amanda Seyfried’s character, Candace, while enjoying an Italian vacation. But their idyllic trip takes an unexpected turn into horror when they inadvertently cause the fall of a kind Italian woman down the stairs.

This film titled “I Don’t Understand You” is helmed by the duo Crano and Craig, who are additionally serving as executive producers. The cast includes Morgan Spector portraying Massimo, Nunzia Schiano as Zia Luciana, Eleanora Romandini as Francesca, Paolo Romano as Daniele, among others. The production team consists of Joel Edgerton, Nash Edgerton, Kara Durrett, Jessamine Burgum, and Jonathan Glickman. Toby Nalbandian, Gregory Schmidt, Will Greenfield, Ben Shafer, Giovanni Pompili, and Lara Costa Calzado serve as executive producers for the film.

Dom (Kroll) and Cole (Rannells), a couple about to adopt a baby, go on a trip to Italy for some pre-baby bonding. Everything seems idyllic, like a dream European babymoon, but things soon start going awry. They get lost on their way to dinner, ending up stuck in a ditch in a remote Italian area during a heavy storm. These two Americans, who are accustomed to being pampered, find themselves in a foreign land with no cell service, no understanding of the language, and, as fear sets in, increasing chaos that could erupt at any second.
