Nick Aldis Announces Big Update on Roman Reigns Ahead of WWE SmackDown

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of wrestling fandom under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement as I witness the latest developments within the world of WWE. The return of The Rock and the continued power struggle within The Bloodline have me on the edge of my seat!

Roman Reigns, the ex-Undisputed WWE Champion, and Nick Aldis, current SmackDown General Manager, share a history marked by many conflicts. Lately, Aldis shared some notable news pertaining to The Original Tribal Chief.

At WWE Bad Blood 2024, Reigns teamed up with his longtime rival, Cody Rhodes, to tackle The Bloodline. In a tag team battle, they squared off against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Given the past tensions between Reigns and Rhodes, several fans found it surprising that Rhodes decided to get entangled in the intrigues surrounding The Bloodline.

In the void left by Reigns, Solo Sikoa seized leadership over the faction and assumed the title of Tribal Chief. This move led to a showdown between them, where Reigns aimed to reestablish his position as The Bloodline’s Tribal Chief, with support from WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes. True to form, the tag team battle saw meddling from other faction associates.

Towards the end, Jimmy Uso reappeared following an attack by Solo Sikoa in April, and challenged the faction’s members. This unexpected return caused a momentary distraction for Sikoa, enabling Reigns to throw a spear and clinch the win.

Meanwhile, a fellow faction member reappeared – The Rock made an entrance at the rampway, facing off against both Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. With The Rock’s return, spectators were on tenterhooks to see his response towards Rhodes joining forces with Reigns. Amidst the turbulence within The Bloodline, Executive Manager Nick Aldis disclosed some significant updates regarding Roman Reigns.
