As a seasoned gamer and avid fan of quirky comedies, the news about the upcoming theatrical release of the Trailer Park Boys movie, Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers Story, has me buzzing with excitement! I’ve been following this zany Canadian mockumentary series since its inception, and it’s always been a breath of fresh air amidst the sea of generic TV shows.

The upcoming “Trailer Park Boys” film, titled “Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers Story,” is set to hit the big screen as part of its theatrical release.

The TV show “Trailer Park Boys” is a Canadian mockumentary that was made by Mike Clattenburg. It’s based on the 1999 movie with the same title, and it first appeared on Showcase in 2001. Since season eight, new episodes have been available through Netflix. The series wrapped up in 2018; however, an animated version and spin-off show have since been produced.

According to reports, both Blue Fox Entertainment and Blue Fox Canada have secured the distribution rights for “Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers Story.” At this point, they are planning a nationwide cinema release; however, an official launch date remains undecided.

What special appearance cameos will be in the new Trailer Park Boys movie?

In the upcoming film, Mike Smith, Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, and Patrick Roach will once again take on their characters Bubbles, Ricky, Julian, and Randy, respectively. As they struggle to find a way back home and revive their dreams, Ricky and Julian grapple with whether it’s feasible to do so again.

In Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers Story, the screenplay has been penned by Smith, while Charlie Lightening takes on the role of director. The trio consisting of Smith, Wells, and Tremblay are the producers for this movie, with Lewin Webb, Jamie Brown, and Gary Howsam also joining as producers.
