Nexon has recently rolled out update 1.1.9 for The First Descendant, which is primarily a minor adjustment with some bug fixes and tweaks, yet it includes a fresh event in TFD. This fresh event presents three unique rewards to be claimed by The First Descendant players, however, these rewards can only be unlocked upon completion of the tasks before the stipulated deadline.
The Korean creator has revealed numerous intriguing ideas for TFD that go beyond just the upcoming launch of Season 2. Notably, the standout feature of Season 2 is set to be further developed with additional types of companions in the future. Moreover, Nexon hinted that potential partnerships with other intellectual properties are currently being considered. A long-standing issue within the community has been AFK players, and Nexon aims to improve the multiplayer experience by implementing new matchmaking options in the future.
Currently, players can look forward to a fresh code to redeem as a tribute to Nexon’s 30th anniversary, and a new The First Descendant event is underway, offering rewards themed around the American celebration of Thanksgiving.
How to get The First Descendant Thanksgiving event rewards
With the release of version 1.1.9, Nexon introduces a fresh event in The First Descendant featuring three unique Thanksgiving rewards up for grabs. Since these goods are only available during this special event, it’s advisable to secure them before they become history.
The rewards on offer are as follows:
- “None For You” spray
- “Maple Leaf” chest Attachment
- “Fluffy Turkey” back Attachment
Neither the spray nor the maple leaf are particularly extraordinary, yet the turkey backpack stands out as remarkably fantastic.

- “None For You” spray – login before maintenance on December 4th, 2024
- “Maple Leaf” chest attachment – Acquire 200 thousand Kuiper Shards
- “Fluffy Turkey” back attachment – Complete 2 Infiltration Operations on any difficulty
The tasks at hand aren’t tough, so you should have no problem wrapping them up before December 4th. As soon as you finish the task that earns the reward, your prize will be delivered to your in-game mailbox within just 10 minutes.
