Fortunately, this week’s update is being marketed as a significant patch, and there might have been a leak of a new Legendary skin for The Finals in relation to a community event.
As a long-time player of Embark, I must confess that Season 3 has been quite disheartening for me and many others in the community. I have invested countless hours honing my skills and building my collection of exclusive skins, only to see my favorite weapons like the FCAR significantly nerfed, leaving them less enjoyable to use. The game’s balance changes have felt more like a punch in the gut than an enhancement to the experience. It’s frustrating because I feel that the developers don’t fully understand the impact of their decisions on the game and its players. I hope they will take our feedback into account and work towards creating a more balanced and fun environment for all of us to enjoy.
As a dedicated fan, I’ve noticed that the balance adjustments this season have been a talking point, but another concern among us is the scarcity of community events. So far, there haven’t been any official announcements, but rumors are swirling about a potential new Legendary skin as a reward for an upcoming community event. In the r/TheFinals subreddit, user jxxnvs posted a query, ‘Did I overlook an occasion, or is it possible to unlock this in-game at the moment?’. The post includes an image from the game that seems to be a sneak peek of a community event skin reward.
The prize is named Iseul-T Reality Check, which is an exceptional skin for fragmentation grenades. As you can see in the snapshot, it’s currently locked and displays a message saying, “Obtained during a Community Event.”

It appears that this incentive hasn’t been involved in any prior community gatherings, suggesting it might be an accidental disclosure from Embark. If correct, there’s a chance this event could occur this week alongside the latest update.
In response to the acclaimed grenade skin, some comments express a lackluster and disheartened sentiment. One comment reads, “Once again, a frag grenade skin. It would be great if the other types of grenades received similar attention as well.”
Meanwhile, an even more damning comment says, “I’m so f***ing sick of Frag grenade skins. I have FIVE cool Frag grenade skins. We get one in every battlepass. Last season we got TWO frag grenade skins in the battlepass. I have ZERO unique skins for the pyro grenade, gas grenade, smoke grenade, sonar grenade, flashbang, any of the mines, shields, tracking dart/thermal bore, C4/breach charge, etc”.
Generally, The Finals updates come out on Wednesdays, but they might be postponed to Thursdays or even later in exceptional cases. However, we haven’t confirmed a community event for this week yet, although fans are eagerly waiting for one since Season 3 has been relatively devoid of such events thus far.
