As a long-time horror fan and avid gamer with a soft spot for slasher films, I can’t help but get excited about the latest development in the Terrifier series. The new image of David Howard Thornton back as Art the Clown is enough to send shivers down my spine! I’ve been following this franchise since its humble beginnings and have grown to appreciate the creativity and sheer terror that comes with each installment.


I’m excited to share that as a dedicated gamer and horror enthusiast, I’ve come across a fresh reveal from Bloody Disgusting. They’ve just unveiled a new image for an upcoming project, and get this – it’s Terrifier 3, and the chilling figure of Art the Clown, brilliantly portrayed by David Howard Thornton, is back in action!

As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled to see David Howard Thornton back in action, donning the terrifying black and white clown suit and tiny hat once again for Terrifier 2. In simple terms, Damien Leone is the director of Terrifier 3. The story begins on Christmas Eve as Art the Clown disrupts the tranquility of Miles County residents, catching them off guard. The movie will address the gruesome cliffhanger from Terrifier 2, meaning the violence and gore will start right away for this holiday sequel.

In the upcoming Terrifier 3 production, some new faces will be joining the cast. These include Tom Savini, Daniel Roebuck, Margaret Anne Florence, Larry Zerner, Charlotte McKee, Sienna Hubert-Ross, Mason Mecartea, and Jason Patric. Alongside the returning actors David Howard Thornton, Lauren LaVera, Samantha Scaffidi, Chris Jericho, and Elliot Fullam, Krsy Fox, Antonella Rose, and experienced character actor Clint Howard have also been confirmed to join the growing list of potential victims.

Director Damien Leone is using the success of Terrifier 2 to build a bigger badder sequel.

The filming for Terrifier 3 came to an end in April. Since then, there has been a lot of editing and refining taking place. This Halloween is when the movie will be released in US cinemas on October 11, 2024. Following its theatrical debut, Terrifier 3 will also become available on VOD and Cineverse’s streaming platform, Screambox.
