Bottle Radha – A Humorous Drama

The movie, Bottle Radha, is a blend of humor and drama, penned and directed by Dhinakaran Sivalingam. Notably, it stars Guru Somasundaram, recognized for his antagonist role in the Malayalam film Minnal Murali. The plot primarily revolves around Radha Mani, a mason by occupation, who struggles with alcoholism, managing to remain sober only occasionally during the day.

The weight of his addictions falls heavily on his family, and their already precarious financial situation only makes things worse. The heart of the story revolves around what Radha Mani does when he enters a rehabilitation facility. This film was produced by Pa. Ranjith and TN Arunbalaji under the production companies Neelam Productions and Balloon Pictures, respectively.

2. Vanangaan

This year, the movie Vanangaan, featuring Arun Vijay and directed by Bala, premiered in theaters. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the plot centers around the title character, a bandit who manages to break out of prison and becomes a chauffeur for a philanthropist. Despite his role as a driver, he harbors secret intentions—to safeguard both the philanthropist and his granddaughter from their enemies. Vijay Kartik Kannan was responsible for the film’s stunning cinematography, while Ruben and Niranjan Deveramane handled the meticulous editing process.
