The film was released in theaters on July 26, 2024, and ended up being the second-highest-grossing movie globally for that year.

The Marvel Studios film, produced with a budget of approximately $200 million, set a new record for an R-rated movie in terms of its opening earnings, raking in over $211 million. In the U.S., Deadpool and Wolverine combined to earn a total of roughly $636.7 million, while internationally they added another $701.3 million to their tally, resulting in a grand box office collection surpassing $1.3 billion for this movie.
According to recent findings, the film earned approximately $620 million in box office sales. Additionally, it made an extra $150 million through home entertainment and television, along with $210 million from streaming services. In total, these earnings amounted to a staggering $980 million.
Although the film raked in a significant sum, it wasn’t without its share of costs. The movie underwent extensive global promotions that contributed significantly to the impressive audience response it received.
In terms of both filming costs and promotional expenditures, the studio is said to have invested approximately $200 million and another $160 million on advertising. Additional costs, such as residuals, distribution fees, interest, overheads, and participations, allegedly totaled around $50 million, $40 million, and $130 million for Disney. This means that the combined costs for Deadpool and Wolverine amount to approximately $580 million, resulting in a profit of approximately $400 million.
