New Live-Action Naruto Movie: Script Now Complete

As a die-hard Naruto fan who’s been through the epic battles of Konoha and the emotional rollercoaster that is Naruto’s journey, I can hardly contain my excitement for this live-action movie! Tasha Huo, the mastermind behind the script, has promised a deep dive into the intricacies of our beloved protagonist, which is music to my ears.

A real-life Naruto film is being developed at the moment, with its script already completed. No launch date has been announced as of now, but the creative team behind it has shared some insights on how they’re bringing a fresh take to the Naruto story.

Naruto – A “Nuanced And Special” Story

Tasha Huo, responsible for the screenplay of the Naruto film, recently discussed aspects of the production in an Entertainment Weekly interview. In this conversation, she disclosed that she has completed writing the script and passed it on to Destin Daniel Cretton, who will be directing the movie.

Cretton has gained recognition for his work on films such as “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” and “Just Mercy”. Huo expresses confidence in Cretton’s abilities and looks forward to seeing where he will steer the upcoming movie.

She mentioned that the film will delve deeper into Naruto’s personality, instead of becoming too immersed in the expansive cosmos.

I think that’s such a cool choice because he’s going to be able to capture how nuanced and special Naruto is without getting distracted by the big world that it is, which I think could easily be done by someone who’s not a fan or someone who’s coming in for a cash payday.

The creator of the manga, Masashi Kishimoto, has also given Cretton his blessing.

When I heard of Destin’s attachment, it happened to be right after watching a blockbuster action film of his, and I thought he would be the perfect director for NARUTO

It seems that everything appears set for this film to thrive, yet one can’t predict for certain with live-action anime adaptations.
