Toei Animation unveils a fresh installment of the beloved Digimon series, dubbed “Digimon Beatbreak“. They’ve also shared the estimated release period for this new anime. Over the years, Digimon has expanded from being a line of virtual pets to manga, video games, anime, and movies. The last Digimon anime was broadcast in 2023, leaving fans eagerly anticipating news about what’s coming next, and now their wait is finally over!
Digimon Beatbreak to get an October 2025 release date
The official Digimon channel on YouTube revealed that a new Digimon anime titled ‘Digimon Beatbreak’ is forthcoming.
In a brief 33-second preview, creators revealed sneak peeks of the revamped Digimon designs, labeling them as “Digital Lifeforms that consume emotions.” The video concludes with a shadowy outline of the primary character and the scheduled launch date set for October 2025.

In two years’ time, we can look forward to seeing Digimon back on our TVs again. The most recent Digimon project was the movie “Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning,” which premiered in Japan in October 2023, following it was the anime series “Digimon Ghost Game” that aired from October 2021 to March 2023.
On its official site, Toei Animation announced that the production of a brand-new television animation titled “DIGIMON BEATBREAK” is currently in progress.
The studio additionally gave a quick overview of Digimon, explaining that its unique feature of allowing kids to not only nurture monsters but also fight them alongside friends earned it immense popularity. The anime franchise kicked off with “Digimon Adventure” in 1999 and has since produced nine television series and eleven movies, attracting fans from various age groups. Starting in October 2025, the long-awaited new series titled “DIGIMON BEATBREAK,” the first in nearly two years, will be broadcasted.
Recently, Digimon held the Digimon Convention 2025 in celebration of the franchise’s 25th anniversary. During this gathering, apart from introducing Digimon Beatbreak, they also unveiled several new Digimon video games.
