As a seasoned gamer and movie enthusiast with a penchant for survival-horror genres, I must confess that the latest trailer for Never Let Go has piqued my interest. With Alexandre Aja at the helm, I’ve got high expectations considering his impressive portfolio, which includes the nail-biting Crawl and the chilling High Tension.

A new trailer for Never Let Go has been released.

A fresh horror flick titled “Never Let Go” hits theaters in September, distributed by Lionsgate. This spine-tingling production is directed by Alexandre Aja, who previously brought us “Crawl.” The movie features a star-studded cast including Halle Berry, Percy Daggs IV, Anthony B. What is Never Let Go about?

In this recently released psychological thriller, as an ominous force threatens the world outside their home, a mother and her twin sons find safety only within their household and the strong familial bond they share. To remain linked at all moments – sometimes even using ropes to ensure contact – they hold onto each other tightly, constantly reminding one another not to let go. However, when one of the boys starts to doubt the existence of this evil force, it causes a rift in their unity, leading to a harrowing struggle for survival.

The film was penned by Kevin Coughlin and Ryan Grassby. Aja, Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Dan Levine are the producers of this movie, while Berry, Holly Jeter, Daniel Clarke, Emily Morris, Christopher Woodrow, and Connor DiGregorio act as executive producers.

Matthew Kevin Anderson, Christin Park, and Stephanie Lavigne also star in the film.

Besides his latest film Crawl, Alexandre Aja has also directed several other movies including Furia (1999), High Tension (2003), The Hills Have Eyes (2006), Mirrors (2008), Piranha 3D (2010), Horns (2013), The 9th Life of Louis Drax (2016), and Oxygen (2021). Currently, he is working on a follow-up to Crawl, which will introduce a fresh cast and is rumored to be set in New York City. At present, specifics about the plot are being kept confidential.

Originally slated for release on September 27, 2024, the movie “Never Let Go” has been moved forward by Lionsgate and is now set to premiere in US cinemas a week earlier, specifically on September 20, 2024.
