For those who may not know, it was revealed earlier that Dulquer Salmaan would be playing a significant character in Thug Life’s main cast. Officially, the creators have confirmed his participation, alongside actors such as Ravi Mohan and Gautham Karthik.

Initially, all three actors were involved in the project; but later on, they decided to withdraw because of the prolonged production issues. It’s uncertain which character DQ was assigned initially, but there are speculations that he was eventually replaced by Silambarasan TR.

Discussing the film, “Thug Life” is a gangster-action story centered around the character of Rangaraaya Sakthivel, a notorious crime boss. At one point, he becomes involved in a gunfight with his adversary, which unfortunately results in the death of an innocent bystander.

In this rephrased version: Sakthivel takes in the late man’s child, Amaran, and raises him as if he were his own offspring. Later, after facing numerous disputes, the cherished foster son transforms into Sakthivel’s most formidable adversary, leading to a confrontation that ultimately results in their demise.

The movie features Haasan and STR as the main characters, with Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami, Nassar, Joju George, and Ashok Selvan among several important cast members.
