Netflix’s You Season 5 Officially Wraps Filming for Final Installment

As a seasoned gamer who’s had his fair share of virtual stalking and suspense-filled narratives, I can’t help but feel a strange sense of anticipation with the confirmation that production on You Season 5 has finally wrapped up. The series has always been a rollercoaster ride of emotions, leaving me both gripped by its psychological thriller plotlines and cringing at Joe Goldberg’s toxic behavior.

Production for the eagerly anticipated fifth season of the popular psychological thriller “You”, produced by Netflix, has been completed following almost five months of filming in New York City. To mark the conclusion of filming, Netflix posted a behind-the-scenes video capturing Penn Badgley’s last day on the set of this acclaimed series.

Who is involved in You Season 5?

As a devoted fan of Caroline Kepnes’ “You” novel series, I find myself drawn into the twisted world of Joe Goldberg – a character who, unfortunately, shares my gaming passion but has a toxic and delusional streak when it comes to love. The upcoming final season is set to introduce some new faces, including Charlotte Ritchie as Kate Lockwood-Goldberg, Madeline Brewer (from “The Handmaid’s Tale”) as Bronte, Anna Camp (of the “Pitch Perfect” fame) portraying twin sisters Reagan and Maddie Lockwood, Griffin Matthews (“She-Hulk”) as Teddy Lockwood, Natasha Behnam (“The Girls on the Bus”) as Dominique, Pete Ploszek (“Parks & Recreation”, “Shameless”) as Harrison, Tom Francis (from “Sunset Boulevard”) as Clayton, and b from “We Crashed” as Phoenix. Can’t wait to see how these new characters intertwine with Joe’s dark obsession!

The show named “It” was initially created by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti. However, for Season 5, Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo took over as the showrunners. This series is produced jointly by Berlanti Productions, Man Sewing Dinosaur, Alloy Entertainment, and Warner Horizon Scripted Television. The executive producers of this show are Michael Foley, Justin W. Lo, Greg Berlanti, Sera Gamble, Sarah Schechter, Leslie Morgenstein, Gina Girolamo, and Marcos Siega.
