As a longtime fan of The Boyfriend series, I’m thrilled that new episodes are coming out this week! I can hardly contain my excitement, especially since I’ve grown quite attached to the cast members: Kazuto, Ryota, Dai, Alan, Shun, Gensei, Taeheon, and Ikuo. I’ve watched their lives unfold on screen for weeks, and each character brings a unique charm and depth to the show.
In the next two episodes, the cast members at the Green Room will experience increased tension as they approach the end of their stay. So far, no romantic relationships have developed, and some individuals are growing increasingly agitated. Ikuo’s arrival and his apparent connection with Dai have left Shun feeling irritated and uncertain about their friendship.
Simultaneously, Gensei works through his emotions towards Ryota. Nevertheless, Ryota continues to feel drawn to Kazuto and desires his company. Taeheon must investigate the implications of Kazuto’s decision to stay friends with Alan from the last episode. With Usaki departed, Kazuto aims to accept the situation while building relationships anew. The developing bond between Ikuo and Dai raises questions about what lies ahead for Dai and Shun.
Don’t forget to tune in to The Boyfriend episodes 7 and 8 this Tuesday on Netflix.
