New behind-the-scenes video offers first look at Netflix’s Wednesday Season 2
A new behind-the-scenes video from Netflix provides the first glimpse of Wednesday Season 2, featuring returning cast members Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Emma Myers, and Joy Sunday. The release date for Wednesday Season 2 is set for 2025 on Netflix.
In the video, Wednesday Addams, portrayed by Ortega, eerily proposes, “Let’s have a game with dolls,” as she clutches a sharp knife-like object. In response, Zeta-Jones, in her role as Morticia Addams, playfully hints, “This upcoming season will be larger and more twisted than you could possibly conceive.
The video additionally focuses on tangible sets and visuals enhancing the series’ gloomy atmosphere, as Jenna Ortega notes humorously, “Any more would make your eyes ache, and I’m not quite that giving.” This playful comment serves to build anticipation for the enigmatic upcoming season. Previously, show creators Al Gough and Miles Millar have announced that all members of the Addams family will attend Nevermore Academy once again.
