Netflix’s Adolescence Becomes Most Watched Limited Series in 2 Weeks

In only two weeks since its debut, Netflix’s series “Adolescence” has broken viewing records for limited series on their platform.

The Philip Barantini-directed series titled “Adolescence” made its debut on a streaming platform on March 13, 2025. Ever since, it has garnered applause from both critics and viewers for its compelling narrative and acting talent.

Adolescence gets 66 million+ views in first two weeks on Netflix

Netflix unveiled its list of the most-watched shows on their platform, with “Adolescence” claiming the number one position.

In just two weeks since its debut, the series “Adolescence” has amassed an astounding 66.3 million views! This impressive total includes the initial week’s views (24.3 million) and second week’s views (42 million). To add to its success, “Adolescence” has surpassed the viewership record for the most-watched limited series on this platform within a mere fortnight.

After Adolescence comes The Residence: Season 1, tallying up 6.4 million views. In third place is Running Point, maintaining its spot for a fourth consecutive week, boasting 3.5 million views.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share that “Adolescence” is a masterpiece created by the talented duo, Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham. In this series, Stephen took on the role of Eddie Miller, but he wasn’t alone. The exceptional Owen Cooper portrayed Jamie Miller, Ashley Walters brought Luke Bascombe to life, and Erin Doherty brilliantly played Briony Ariston.

Graham recently shared his feelings about releasing the show on Netflix with them. He expressed that the series was made with a lot of love, integrity, and respect, stemming from deep affection for each crew member (including cast members as part of the team). He believes that because it was created out of love, their small project, like a stone or pebble, was tossed into the universe, and the impact it’s had, particularly the ripples, has been surprisingly intense.
