As a lifelong fan of all things spooky and mysterious, I must say that Mattel’s Monster High x Wednesday doll collaboration has sent me into raptures! Netflix’s Wednesday was an instant hit with its darkly humorous take on the beloved character, and these dolls are the perfect embodiment of her unique charm.

Netflix’s series titled “Wednesday” has become a significant pop culture hit. This TV production reimagines the lead character in a fresh and separate narrative, borrowing her from the iconic Addams Family series.
Instead of saying “However, this is an entirely new Wednesday than the several others audiences were familiar with”, you could say “Wednesday, as portrayed by Jenna Ortega, is a fresh take on a character audiences have known before”. In this version, we’re emphasizing that while the audience has seen Wednesdays in the past, the character played by Jenna Ortega offers something new and different.
But some things never change such as her blunt attitude, intelligence, and penchant for the macabre and the color black. Therefore, it should be no surprise that Wednesday’s unique style would match that of Mattel’s successful doll franchise Monster High.
Through this partnership, Mattel unveiled three Monster High x Wednesday dolls. I’ll show you the two I received as gifts.
Enid Sinclair
Starting on Wednesday, my roommate Enid Sinclair – a werewolf, I might add – was released from her container. Despite the intricacies of our friendship with Wednesday, it was undeniable that Enid’s demeanor and style were as vibrant and lively as her infectious spirit.
In a nutshell, Enid’s taste leans towards soft, attractive items, which is wonderfully mirrored in her doll’s design. Notably, this doll boasts multiple joints for movement, with its wrist articulation being particularly noteworthy.
Instead of “Her long, werewolf-style nails are painted to coordinate with the rest of her attire,” you could say, “Her claw-like nails have been color-coordinated with the rest of her ensemble.
No expense was spared as I noted the impressive quality of her entire ensemble. She’s lightweight, easy to pose and position with the doll stand, and incredibly beautiful.
Without a doubt, you won’t find a Monster High partnership lacking the signature traits from their doll line. The Monster High emblem, like the one seen on the simple assembly doll stand, Enid’s pink school bag, and her pullover, are all part of this collection.
Rave’N Wednesday
Compared to Enid, the Rave’N Wednesday doll may not boast the same vibrant colors, but it certainly matches Enid in terms of detail and intricacy. The peculiar dance moves of Wednesday, as portrayed on Netflix, are a memory that lingers on.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but recall the striking image of her, resplendent in her monochrome ensemble – an exquisite, lacy black dress that was the epitome of elegance. Her signature hairstyle, the meticulously folded and pinned black braids, added to her captivating allure, making her a truly unforgettable sight.
1) She dons long, sleek black stockings that match perfectly with her enchanting black heels. Her earrings bear a subtle hint of the Monster High brand, while an intricate skull design is cleverly incorporated into her eyes’ irises, leaving me in awe.
Similar to Enid, her facial characteristics are hard to overlook, and her expressive features are striking. Placing Wednesday on her doll stand alongside Enid brings the television duo back to life.
