As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say, this week’s Netflix lineup is nothing short of a dream come true! The long-awaited return of the Pogues in Outer Banks Season 4 and the animated adventure of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft have me more than excited.
Here are the latest Netflix additions from October 7-13, 2024: “Outer Banks Season 4 Part 1” and “Tomb Raider: The Adventure of Lara Croft.
On October 10th, Netflix will unveil the first half of Outer Banks Season 4. The Pogues, our favorite treasure-hunting crew, won’t wait long before diving back into their adventures following a period of relaxation at home enjoying life to the fullest. This engaging series is the work of creators Josh and Jonas Pete, as well as Shannon Burke. An impressive ensemble cast including Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Davies, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, and Drew Starkey brings this captivating story to life.
Additionally on October 10th, the animated series “Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft” will be available on Netflix. This show is part of the Tomb Raider franchise and follows the same storyline as Square Enix’s Tomb Raider: Survivor trilogy of video games, set in the timeline after the events of 2018’s “Shadow of the Tomb Raider”. Hayley Atwell lends her voice to Lara Croft.
Also releasing on Netflix this week are the movies Bad Boys: Ride or Die and A Quiet Place Part II.
“Bad Boys: On a Roll” – This is an action-packed, humorous crime flick that belongs to the Bad Boys series, being its fourth installment. A follow-up to “Bad Boys for Life”, stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence once again bring to life their characters, Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.
In simple terms, “A Quiet Place Part II” is a suspenseful and scary film, serving as the follow-up to “A Quiet Place”. It depicts the ongoing battle of the Abbott family to stay alive in a world overrun by creatures that attack at the slightest sound.
