As someone who’s been through countless festive seasons and binge-watching marathons, I can confidently say that this week’s Netflix lineup is nothing short of a holiday miracle! First off, let me express my excitement for the upcoming A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter. As a fan who’s been following her career since her Disney days, it’ll be an absolute treat to see her in this musical special. I can already envision myself cozied up with a cup of hot cocoa, ready to sing along!

At last, we’ve reached December and along with it arrives an abundance of fresh movies and series on Netflix! This week offers a plethora of new content, such as a Christmas special from a well-known pop icon, a brand-new drama television series, and the beginning of the final chapter for a beloved anime show.

Kicking off the holiday spirit for me this year is the much-anticipated Christmas special, “A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter”! This musical extravaganza lands on Netflix on December 6, 2024. In this festive showcase, Sabrina Carpenter will captivate us with her enchanting vocals, graciously welcome a star-studded guest list, and simply shine in her charming personality. Some of the esteemed guests joining her include Cara Delevingne, Sean Astin, Quinta Bronson, Shania Twain, and Chapell Roan. I can’t wait to tune in for this magical start to my holiday season!

Black Doves is also coming to Netflix this week! The series stars Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw, Tracey Ullman, Sarah Lancashire, and Finn Bennett and comes to Netflix on Thursday, Dec. 5. The series follows a woman who has an affair with a man who doesn’t know her secret identity but faces danger when her lover is caught up in the underground world of London. To protect her, they call in Sam Young. Let’s just say… the two have history.

Delighted anime enthusiasts! The highly anticipated first part of “BEASTARS” final season begins airing on Thursday, Dec. 5. This anime is inspired by the manga with the same name by Paru Itagaki. The series portrays a world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals attending school together. In this upcoming season, Legoshi chooses to leave the school and live independently while battling his internal conflicts, Louis encounters his father, and Hari endures one challenge after another despite enjoying campus life.
