As a long-time Netflix enthusiast and binge-watcher extraordinaire, I can hardly contain my excitement for this week‘s new additions! The anticipation has been building ever since I heard whispers of Emily in Paris season 4 part 2, Uglies, and a brand-new season of The Circle.
This week brings fresh entertainment to Netflix! In store for us are the latest seasons of an original Netflix production, a film adaptation from a popular book series, and a new installment of a Netflix reality TV show. Enjoy the novelty!
Kicking things off this week, I’m diving back into the vibrant world of Emily in Paris with season 4 part 2! Starting to stream on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024, this second half promises to continue the tale where the first half ended. Emily appears to have her life sorted now, even picked a partner, but it seems everyone else around her is still navigating their own storms. However, there’s more intrigue and drama brewing for Emily – can you imagine the show without it?

This coming Friday, September 13th, the movie adaptation of the renowned book series “Uglies” by Scott Westerfield will be available on our streaming service! The film stars Joey King, Chase Stokes, Laverne Cox, Keith Powers, Jillian Murray, and Luke Eisner. Set in a dystopia where everyone undergoes an operation to enhance their looks, the movie explores what happens when one girl decides against it. This is certainly one of the must-watch movies this week!

Looking for some reality TV entertainment? Don’t miss the return of “The Circle” for season 7, airing on Wednesday, Sept. 11! In this unique show, contestants are sequestered in individual apartments and engage with each other through a social media platform called The Circle. Players can choose to present themselves as authentic or fabricated personas, with the individuals who gain the highest ratings becoming influencers. As influencers, they possess the power to vote off others until only one ultimate winner remains. Comedian Michelle Buteau returns as host for this exciting season!
