But hey, if you’re in the mood for some dark historical drama, then “The Decameron” might just be the ticket.

But as we all know too well, what begins as an enjoyable distraction soon takes a sinister turn. Some might argue that a pandemic-themed series is premature given our current global situation. However, it seems that denial and avoidance are common responses during crises, so perhaps this show serves as a reminder of the importance of facing our realities head-on.
