Netflix Drops Ominous Teaser Trailer for ‘Wednesday’ Season 2

Netflix unveiled the long-awaited preview trailer for the second season of the much-hyped show, Wednesday.

In simple terms, the chilling show is set to premiere on your streaming platform in two parts during its second season. The sneak peek hints at Jenna Ortega reprising her role as Wednesday Addams, who’s back at Nevermore Academy. Ortega, now a producer for this season, shares with Tudum that she’s thrilled to return to the character. Wednesday Addams is one of the most iconic characters ever, and getting to play her was amazing. Then, having the chance to get back into the costume and adopt her unique personality again is a blast. Playing someone who’s smarter than you could ever be is amusing, strange, and enjoyable.

The brief promotional clip unveils Wednesday, who is accompanied by a fresh addition to the Addams family, her younger sibling Pugsley, portrayed by Isaac Ordonez, in their school setting. As he embarks on his personal Nevermore odyssey, novel torments arise as Wednesday endeavors to hone her growing psychic talent, halt a series of murders, and unravel the enigma that entwined her parents.

Ortega and Ordonez share the screen with Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), Victor Dorobantu (Thing), Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Deputy Ritchie Santiago), Jamie McShane (Sheriff Donovan Galpin) and Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester).
