Production & What’s Ahead

Netflix acquired the script as far back as 2020 following an intense competition, and since then, the project has been actively undergoing development.

Filming is expected to begin in fall 2025, with a release date planned for 2026.

The movie is being made in collaboration with Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon from Genre Films, as well as the film’s director, Fernando Meirelles, personally.
